Jones's tweets quickly caught the attention of Jim Bell, the production and programming president for NBC Olympics, who invited her to join the team in Rio.

"Experiencing the Olympics through the lens of Leslie is unlike anything else," Bell said in a statement. "Her passion for Team USA is contagious, and her adventures in South Korea should be fascinating."

Bet on it.

The Olympics kick off in Pyeongchang on Feb. 9 and will run until Feb. 25.
